The Aster MIMS Cancer Congress 2023, held in Kozhikode and led by renowned doctors in the field of cancer treatment, has successfully concluded. The congress served as a platform to discuss controversies and treatment protocols related to cancer. The three-day event attracted doctors from various hospitals across India, who actively participated in continuing education programs.

The Cancer Congress 2023 presented papers and workshops on different types of cancer, innovative treatments, and various diagnosis methods. Sessions dedicated to Gynaecology, Haematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Lung Cancer, and Breast Cancer provided a comprehensive analysis of the various types of cancer affecting the human body.

In addition, the congress included workshops such as Precision Oncology and an SBRT practicum, as well as sessions on gastrointestinal, head and neck, and general practitioner cancer treatments.

The event was inaugurated by Aster Group Chairman, Dr Azad Moopan, and was organized by a team of esteemed doctors from the Oncology Department of Aster MIMS, Kozhikode, including Dr Arun Chandrasekaran, Consultant-Medical Oncology and Organising Secretary, Prof. Dr Somashekhar SP, Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board, Aster DM Healthcare GCC and India, Farhan Yasin, Vice President of Aster India, Dr Abraham Mamman, Chief of Medical Services, Aster MIMS Kozhikode, and Dr KV Gangadharan, Head of Medical Oncology and Chairman of the Scientific Committee.
